I know life has been kicking your ass lately. You tried to get up from rocks that scarred your knees but you felt another blow from nowhere. Oh, my little one, you are already numb and accustomed to pain. You won’t even notice the new wounds because they all feel the same.
I think it’s sad to know that you were once a glimmer in a grayscaled crowd, full of life, hope and passion. You are an avid fan of possibilities and of discovering horizon –never getting tired of running towards the promising sunrise and lush green meadows.
It’s sad that it feels odd to tell people to fight when you’re already losing your own battles. Like a candle, you shared your light until there was none to give anymore. Now, you’re walking in the dark alley of your thoughts, wondering. “Will someone share their sparkle?”
You don’t tell how sad you are inside because people never listen. They would start telling their own stories or invalidate your sadness and make you think that all these are equally proportioned to your faith.
Human as you are, darling, that’s okay. Being sad is normal. Carrying the weight of the world on your shoulder was never easy. God knows that. He loves you, even your fragile parts. 🙂
